Silver Anniversary Celebration
Celebrating the Silver Anniversary of the Historic Society's formation
Schoolhouse Museum, 135 Shady Lane, 1 to 3 p.m.
Program begins at 1:30 with a presentation of the society's history: "How we got here from there" Historical fashion show, featuring styles from the 1850s and beyond. Refreshments. A family affair. Guests welcome to wear old-fashioned clothing. Details:

May Lecture Series
The Historical Society of Dayton Valley's annual May lecture series is held during the Nevada State Historical Preservation Office's celebration of Nevada's history and archaeology preservation month. The series is held in the Dayton Senior Center, Old Dayton Valley Road and Breakwater, 7 p.m. Refreshments and camaraderie. Questions essential.
